Why does the ferry need air conditioning? It’s only 45 minutes on the ocean. Can’t they open windows? It seems a waste of energy.

Are you kidding me???? Most people would like to remain comfortable on their ride across and yes it is a 45 minute ride but let’s not forget you have to be on the boat before it leave for it’s 45 minute ride, so really it’s more like an hour.
For what we pay, even as year round citizens, to ride the boat, I want to be comfortable on my journey across.
