The Steamship Authority’s Island Home ferry missed its first two runs of the day Thursday due to unspecified mechanical issues.
Sean Driscoll, a spokesman for the SSA, said he did not have details yet of what went wrong.
The ferry loaded up and made its 8:15 am crossing from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven.
