Cape Cod 5 presented a $25,000 grant to Martha’s Vineyard Community Services (MVCS). The grant will be distributed over the next two years, and will contribute to the organization’s capital campaign goals, which include the construction of a new Early Childhood Center and main building as well as an increase in their endowment.
“Cape Cod 5 is honored to support Martha’s Vineyard Community Services in their mission to
provide Island residents with the social, emotional, and financial amenities that are essential to
their health and well-being,” said Dorothy A. Savarese, president and CEO of Cape Cod 5.
Founded in 1961 by a group of Island clergymen and family physicians, MVCS maintains an objective to meet the needs of Island individuals, families, and communities through programs that provide access to education, health, and human services.
