A woman drove her car into the porch of a house at 1 Winemack St. Monday morning, damaging the railing and steps to the house.
The crash occurred at around 10 am, Colton Gilpin, 25, who lives in a nearby apartment, told The Times. Gilpin heard a loud crash, went outside to investigate, and called police.
“It was a very eventful morning,” Gilpin said. Gilpin asked the woman several times if she was OK while she remained in the car. “She seemed very disoriented. She kept repeating, ‘I was just trying to turn around.’”
Police were not immediately available for comment on the crash.
